<b>First Posted:</b> 9/13/2009<br><br>Mary Elaine Trotta, of Pittston, died September 8, 2009, at home, after an illness. 
Born in Old Forge, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred Ofier Trotta. She was educated in local schools and received her teaching certification. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Pittston. She was involved in the local Lions Club. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Riverside School District. 
The Funeral was Sept. 12 with a blessing service in the Adonizio Funeral Home, Pittston. Entombment Cathedral Cemetery in the family mausoleum.
