<b>First Posted:</b> 2/8/2009<br><br>Richard Obal, 53, formally of Avoca, died February 4, 2009, at his home in Pittston. 
Born March 2, 1955, in Avoca, Richard was a son of the late Alex and Dorothy (Legg) Obal. He was member of Full Gospel Church, Avoca; he attended Pittston Area Schools, and worked for many years for Party Time, Duryea. 
He is survived by his sister, Diane Alba, Pittston; his aunt and uncle; and nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be held at a time to be announced. Arrangements are by Kiesinger Funeral Services., Duryea.
