First Posted: 12/4/2009 WILKES-BARRE -- A Dallas man charged in connection to a fatal hit-and-run crash in Laflin last October was sentenced Friday to one to two years in county jail.

Austin Jacob Knight, 20, of Huntsville Road, was charged with accidents involving death or personal injury after police said Knight was the driver of a 1994 Ford Ranger pick-up truck that struck 87-year old Raymond Falcone, on Laflin Road on Oct. 20.
Falcone died from his injuries. Knight pleaded guilty to the charge, including related traffic violations in September.
Knight was sentenced by Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas Judge Hugh Mundy.
