Pittston Area High School announces first quarter honor roll

<b>First Posted:</b> 4/19/2009<br><br>The Friends of the Pittston Library were recipients of the annual Jean Yates Award at the annual dinner of the Pittston Memorial Library Wednesday evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Center. Janet Delaney, president, accepted the award named after the late Jean Yates, a former library board member and generous supporter of the library.
Past recipients of the award are Michael Insalaco, Michael Lombardo and John Adonizio.
Atty. Joseph Saporito served as toastmaster. Remarks were offered by Eileen Burns, president of the Board of Trustees, and Kelly Carroll.
Rev. Greg Finn, OSJ, asked the invocation and offered benediction.
