Gavin is the grandson of Terry and Anne Corcoran Woodmancy, Jenkins Twp., and Rich and Sue Wisnoski, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He is the maternal great grandson of Joseph and Sharon Woodmancy, Glendale and the late Joseph and Helen Corcoran, Pittston. He is the paternal great grandson of Catherine and the late Richard Wisnoski and Dorothy and the late A. Duff Busche, Pittsburgh.
