<b>First Posted:</b> 6/8/2008<br><br>Frances Blattner, 76, of Duryea passed away June 5, 2008 at her home. 
Born in Duryea, she was a daughter of the late George and Frances Raychel Pradel. She attended Duryea Schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the area garment industry. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea. She was a member of ILGWU. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, who passed away on March 23, 1986; brother, George; sisters, Mary Klemeshefsky and Irene Pradel. 
Surviving are, daughter, Ann Marie Stalbird and husband, Lewis, Duryea; twin grandsons, Lewis and John; granddaughter, Sherri Schnitzler; 2 great-grandchildren, Angel and Paul; nieces and nephews. 
Funeral was June 7 from the Piontek Funeral Home Inc., Duryea, with Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dupont.
