<p>Cooler temperatures, along with a chance of showers, will linger around the Wyoming Valley to start off the week.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 49 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies kicking off the day.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 70. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 59.</p><p>Monday will bring a 30 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. with mostly cloudy skies expected otherwise. The high will be near 74.</p><p>Cloudy skies will carry over into Monday night, along with a 30 percent chance of showers. The low will be around 67 degrees.</p><p>Tuesday will once again bring cloudy skies, along with a 30 percent chance of showers. The high will be near 75.</p><p>Showers will be likely on Tuesday night, but no precipitation amounts have been predicted.
