DALLAS &#8212; Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. For participants age 60+ a $2.00 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.The following is the menu for the week of March 30:MONDAY: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, cauliflower and red peppers, whole wheat bread, berry and yogurt parfait, margarine, milk and coffee.TUESDAY: Meatloaf, gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry crisp, margarine, milk and coffee.WEDNESDAY: Easter luncheon - Dr. Pepper glazed ham, scallop potatoes, broccoli cauliflower blend, vegetable/pickle platter with ranch dressing, wheat dinner roll, coconut sheet cake, margarine, milk and coffee.THURSDAY: Herb pork roast, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, cherry banana gelatin, margarine, milk and coffee.FRIDAY: Center closed for Good Friday holiday.
