<p>LUZERNE &#8212; Local student dancers, both boys and girls, ages 7 to 16, are welcome to audition to dance with the Moscow Ballet when the professional company stages the Great Russian Nutcracker at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on Dec. 9.</p><p>Open auditions will be 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the local host dance studio The Joan Harris Centre, 545 Charles St., Luzerne. Student dancers must have at least one year of ballet training, dress in dance attire and may bring pointe shoes.</p><p>Moscow Ballet&#8217;s &#8220;Dance with Us&#8221; program, in its 23rd year, selects student dancers to perform ancillary roles of party children, mice, snowflakes, angels, and more.</p><p>Audition director Olga Aru will be in town for several days to lead the audition and to rehearse the selected student dancers. Students may register at www.nutcracker.com/youth-auditions/sign-up-to-audition or contact the Joan Harris Centre at 570-287-7977 for more information.</p><style>
