High-ranking Luzerne County manager abruptly resigns

<p>PHILADELPHIA &#8212; Former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett&#8217;s ex-son-in-law has been sentenced to six to 12 months in jail for stealing $140 from an alleged drug dealer&#8217;s luxury car.</p><p>What 45-year-old Gerold Gibson didn&#8217;t know at the time is that the car was wired with hidden cameras and he was being watched by Philadelphia police internal affairs.</p><p><a href="http://bit.ly/1JJj9th" target="_blank">The Philadelphia Inquirer reports</a> the January 2013 &#8220;integrity test&#8221; came in response to reports the Gibson had stolen clothes and jewels while searching drug dealers&#8217; homes.</p><p>Gibson was sentenced Thursday by a Philadelphia judge. He was convicted of theft, obstructing the administration of law and other crimes earlier this year after a mistrial on the same charges in September 2014.</p><p>Judge Diana Anhalt told Gibson that, &#8220;Integrity is what you do when nobody else is watching.&#8221;</p><style>
