DALLAS &#8212; Michael Farrell has a message for opponents heading to the Back Mountain.&#8220;This is Dallas football, and we are trying build something here,&#8221; the 6-foot-2, 280-pound junior lineman said. &#8220;When you come into the Back Mountain, and you come through that rock cut, you are going to experience Dallas football. When you hit that rock cut, you will see how physical Dallas football is.&#8221;Williamsport found that out the hard way.Dallas dominated the second half, got third-quarter touchdowns from David Simpson, Matt Harrison and Tanner Gattuso and controlled both lines of scrimmage en route to a 28-14 victory on a cold Friday night in the Back Mountain.It was Williamsport&#8217;s first loss of 2015, while Dallas improves to 2-3.&#8220;We have been playing great defense all year long,&#8221; Dallas head coach Rich Mannello said. &#8220;They have really bought in, and we&#8217;ve been doing it in all three phases. We are playing fast on defense, and understand what we want them to do there. We are making plays.&#8221;A recipe for disaster, or so it seemed.Williamsport (4-1) scored with no time left in the first half as quarterback Isaiah Hankins rolled out and found Jalen Jackson open for the 25-yard touchdowns for the 7-0 halftime lead.But whatever was said in that locker room, the Mountaineers should bottle it up and take it to every game.That&#8217;s because Dallas just flat-out ran the Millionaires off the field.Simpson, who ran for 152 on 25 carries, intercepted Hankins on the first play of the third quarter, and returned to the 10-yard line. The bruising fullback scored three plays later to knot the score at 7.It got worse for the Millionaires.Williamsport fumbled a late-quarter punt inside its own 5-yard line, which led to Harrison&#8217;s 4-yard keeper off the left side, giving the Mountaineers its first lead with 2:07 left in the third.On its next possession, Hankins threw another interception &#8211; this time by Ryan Martin &#8211; and again, Dallas capitalized. On a second-and-8, Harrison found a wide-open Tanner Gattuso streaking down the sideline for the 37-yard score and two-touchdown lead.&#8220;We knew that we were stronger up front because we&#8217;ve been lifting since February,&#8221; Harrison said. &#8220;We felt that we were bigger and stronger, and we needed to pound the ball. We couldn&#8217;t let that score before halftime bother us. We couldn&#8217;t get down on ourselves. We have to keep our heads up.&#8221;Really, Williamsport&#8217;s explosive offense managed nearly nothing.Take away Hankin&#8217;s 75-yard touchdown and a 42-yard fake punt by Elliott Walker, and the Millionaires were held to just 152 yards offensively.Offensively, Dallas dominated &#8212; thanks to the boys in the trenches.The line opened up holes for Simpson, who averaged nearly six yards per carry, including 10 straight carries on the Mountaineer&#8217;s last possession to seal the victory.In all, Dallas chewed up 231 of its 299 yards on the ground.&#8220;The big guys up front, they were just outstanding,&#8221; Simpson said. &#8220;I feel that I have the best offensive line in the entire conference. They are the best five guys, six if you include Ryan Martin. We feel that we can play with anyone around here, without question. We&#8217;ve been in some tight games, and we have shown heart. It was good to finally pull one of those out.&#8221;The Back Mountain boys all but sealed the victory midway through the fourth quarter, driving 82 yards in just nine plays. Harrison found Martin for a 31-yard gain, setting up Dallas in the Millionaire red zone.
