WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Michael Verbitsky said he just found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.&#8220;Well we&#8217;ll make sure you&#8217;re in the right place at the right time,&#8221; Luzerne County Judge Michael T. Vough said Monday.Vough then sentenced Verbitsky, 46, of Hazleton, to spend 27 to 54 months in state prison on drug charges stemming from three arrests in the past year.According to court records, Verbitsky pleaded guilty in August to the charges, which consisted of three counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and one count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine.&#8220;The defendant would not stop selling drugs,&#8221; Assistant District Attorney Jenny Roberts told Vough. &#8220;We kept arresting him&#8230; he just would not stop.&#8221;According to arrest papers, Verbitsky was arrested in possession of varying quantities of drugs in October 2013, July 2014 and August 2014.Verbitsky could potentially be released after serving about 20 months through the state&#8217;s Recidivism Risk Reduction Incentive (RRRI) program, court papers indicate.
