<p>KINGSTON &#8212; Wyoming Valley West coach Pat Keating said his team&#8217;s performance on Friday night against Dallas was the best performance, top to bottom of the year.</p><p>He couldn&#8217;t be more right.</p><p>The Spartans piled up nearly 400 more yards than the Mountaineers, held Dallas to three plays or less on seven of its offensive drives, and picked up four scoring plays of 50 yards or more in a 56-0 victory at Spartan Stadium.</p><p>&#8220;It was the best preparation they had all year and everything transferred over,&#8221; Keating said. &#8220;They just wanted to come out here and show that they&#8217;re a good team and make a statement.&#8221;</p><p>While Dallas entered with a stingy defense, Valley West didn&#8217;t waste any time showing that its defense is just as good, if not better. On the game&#8217;s first drive, the Mountaineers fumbled three plays in and WVW recovered. Three plays into the Spartans first drive of the contest, they were up 7-0 after a 1-yard TD run by Sean Judge, who was just getting started on his huge night.</p><p>Valley West, which scored on eight of its 11 drives, went right back to work on its second possession striking quickly again needing just four plays before Billy Davison found the end zone on a 22-yard run. The senior fullback caught a 4-yard TD pass nearing the end of the first quarter putting the Spartans in front 21-0.</p><p>Quite a performance against a Dallas team, which has allowed just 73 points all season prior to its meeting with the Spartans.</p><p>&#8220;I was shocked at that. We stressed that all week that they&#8217;ve been in every game and they could easily be 5-0,&#8221; Keating said. &#8220;And tonight, I&#8217;m ecstatic how we played tonight.&#8221;</p><p>Then came the big plays.</p><p>Valley West&#8217;s next four TDs were all of 50-or-more yards. Quarterback Aaron Austin was part of two of them hooking up with Judge for a 53-yard pass when the senior running back zig-zagged through the Dallas defense picking up 52 yards after the catch for the score and a 28-0 lead. Davison (2 rushes, 75 yards) rushed 53 yards to the end zone putting WVW ahead 35-0 in the second quarter.</p><p>Austin got in on the act on Valley West&#8217;s next drive scampering 55 yards for a TD run and a 42-0 lead going to the half.</p><p>On the first scrimmage play of the second half, Judge went 70 yards for a score increasing the lead to 49-0.
