<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police recently charged several people with possession of controlled substances in separate incidents:</p><p>&#8226; Police allege that Lamont Twyman, 19, of Wilkes-Barre, was in possession of marijuana when they encountered him at about 1:10 p.m. Friday on East Lafayette Street, police said.</p><p>&#8226; Michael Quinn, 29, of Pope Terrace in Mountain Top, and Christy Walsh, 30, of Zerby Avenue, Kingston, were arrested on Old River Road at about 12:41 a.m. Tuesday after they were found to be in possession of suspected cocaine and marijuana, respectively. Police said the substances field tested positive for those controlled substances. Both Walsh and Quinn were processed and released to a responsible party, and charges were filed in district court, police said.</p><style>
