Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Conference Oct. 16 at Genetti’s Best Western

All school employees who will be retiring in the next five years are invited to attend a pre-retirement seminar sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR).The Tunkhannock Public Library, 220 W. Tioga Street, will host this seminar from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Tunkhannock Public Library, 220 W. Tioga Street; or Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Lookout House on Route 93, between Hazleton and Berwick (exit 256 on Route 80).The cost of $6 includes coffee and doughnuts and lunch. A PSERS representative will give the &#8220;Foundations for the Future&#8221; retirement planning presentation and answer any questions. Other presenters will include a financial planner and a representative from Professional Insurance Services Incorporated (PISI) who will speak on dental and vision and long term care insurance.These are for informational purposes only.
