Misericordia welcomes new faculty members

Harlem Globetrotter Chris ‘Handles’ Franklin visited students at Dallas Elementary School Thursday afternoon. Besides showing off his basketball maneuvers, ‘Handles’ also discussed the ABCs of Bullying Prevention. ‘A’ means taking action against bullies by telling a teacher or parent; ‘B’ stands for being brave and not laughing when bullies target a classmate; and ‘C’ means compassion, he said. ‘Handles’ also taught the students some basketball tricks.
