<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; When an opponent enters having scored 70 or more points three times, the task of stopping that kind of offense is monumental.</p><p>Holy Redeemer found that out firsthand Saturday night at Wilkes-Barre Memorial Stadium.</p><p>Juniata scored on every possession it had &#8212; and one of Redeemer&#8217;s as well &#8212; in a 67-0 victory over the Royals.</p><p>Both teams had opening on their schedules Week 7. Redeemer&#8217;s original opponent, Pius X of Bangor, closed after the last school year. Juniata played a team from Maryland in this slot last year. So neither school could be particular in filling the void.</p><p>&#8220;We appreciate the opportunity to play this game,&#8221; Juniata coach Gary Klingensmith said. &#8220;We had an open date on our schedule and Redeemer had the same. So we&#8217;re happy we had the game even though we had to drive two and a half hours to get here.&#8221;</p><p>Juniata (5-2) kept driving when it reached Wilkes-Barre. Running back Fletcher Hart scored on a 36-yard run on the fourth play of the game and the Indians were off and running. Manny Rodriguez then brought back an interception 27 yards for a touchdown on Redeemer&#8217;s third play from scrimmage.</p><p>The points kept adding up for Juniata as it took a 41-0 lead into halftime thanks to four second-quarter touchdowns.</p><p>Redeemer&#8217;s deepest journey down field in the first half came on its second possession of the game. The Royals (1-6) pieced together an 11-play drive, which was aided by a 15-yard roughing the punter penalty, to move to the Juniata 45-yard line. But after a 3-yard loss on a run, Juniata intercepted its second pass of the game.</p><p>The Royals got into Juniata territory just one more time, but a fourth-quarter possession ended at the Indians 46 on a punt.</p><p>&#8220;I take (from this) we&#8217;re starting seven sophomores,&#8221; Redeemer coach Scott Dennis said. &#8220;I can take our quarterback got another week in the maturation process and growing up. He&#8217;s a sophomore. We virtually have our whole team back next year.
