<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Ryan Goodrich, 30, of Hunlock Creek, faces a weapons violations charge, as police say he had a weapon while being the subject of a protection from abuse order.</p><p>Police responded to a location on Hazle Street shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday for a report of a male slumped behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed a handgun in the passenger seat of Goodrich&#8217;s vehicle, police said.</p><p>Police said they later learned Goodrich is the subject of a protection from abuse order, which required him to surrender all firearms to the Luzerne County Sheriff&#8217;s Department.</p><style>
