The Luzerne County Community College Student Alliance for Equality (SAFE) and the Student Government Association (SGA) will hold LCCC&#8217;s third annual Pride Fest from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the College&#8217;s Campus Center, third floor hallway.Numerous local agencies will be present at the event including Caring Communities, Victims Resource Center, Domestic Violence Service Center, and others. Additionally, representatives from Equality PA and the Pennsylvania Youth Congress also will be in attendance. The LCCC Democratic Club will provide an opportunity to register to vote as well as to sign petitions in support of HB 1510 and SB 974, the PA Fairness Act.During the event, &#8220;The Birdcage&#8221; will be available for viewing in the college&#8217;s campus center rotunda and the Photo Club will conduct a themed photo booth. Additionally, information about on-site STI testing will be available through Caring Communities and members of the LCCC counseling department will be available to speak with anyone in attendance.The College&#8217;s radio station, WSFX, will provide musical entertainment and snacks will be provided courtesy of the SGA.
