DUPONT: The VFW Post 4909 of Dupont will hold their 70th anniversary dinner dance from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at the post home, 401-403 Main Street.Dinner buffet will be from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. with dancing from 9 pm. to 1 a.m. Entertainment will be provided by Millennium. Pre-registration is $15, or $20 on the day of the race. Registration fee is waived for all veterans, ROTC, and current military personnel.Day of event registration begins at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is suggested and comes with a complimentary t-shirt. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Veteran&#8217;s Day Parade Committee.There will be eight age divisions for male and female participants.
