Letter to the Editor: Wilkes-Barre’s politics continue to be painfully predictable; why not change?

Voters, please check the backgrounds of members of Luzerne County Council.I have checked three and they are poor representatives: Edd Brominski, Stephen A. Urban and Urban&#8217;s son.The elder Urban and Brominski are former commissioners who ran this county to where it is, and now vote as a bloc.Urban, as a Republican commissioner, always voted no on all ideas &#8211; to look good with voters. Now there are three that vote no on everything to look good with voters. Don&#8217;t let them fool you.We need council to check things out and have enough courage to vote unpopular votes. Tired of being Mr. Nice Guys. We might not like your vote, but investigate and explain your reasons.I honestly wish you had to live on non-union workers wages. Seven years without raise. You three are cowards. You need to be voted out.Voters, please check. Their own party does not endorse them.Ron KukowskiWilkes-Barre
