‘A Chair Affair’ will benefit Junior Achievement of NEPA

<p>SCRANTON&#8212;Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic will continue their season&#8217;s &#8220;Latitude/Longitude&#8221; theme with the &#8220;Departing Washington, D.C. for the European Capitals&#8221; program at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 in the Theater at Lackawanna College.</p><p>NEPA Philharmonic chose their theme as a way to take concert goers on a trip around the world through music, and Nov. 14&#8217;s event will feature selections from Russian composer Igor Stravinsky (&#8220;Dumbarton Oaks&#8221;) and German composer Johannes Brahms (&#8220;Serenade No. 1 in D Major&#8221;).</p><p>A Martz bus from Wilkes-Barre will be available for transportation to the event. Advance registration is required.</p><p>Tickets are available online at <a href="http://www.nepaphil.org">www.nepaphil.org</a>, by phone at (570) 270-4444 or at the box office the day of the event. Reserved seat prices range from $30 to $65. College students can purchase tickets for $15. Students through high school age can attend this and all NEPA Philharmonic Masterworks concerts for free.</p><style>
