<p>Wyoming Seminary seniors Samarth Desai of Shavertown and LaAnna Farnelli of Montrose have been named semi-finalists in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship competition. They now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for about 7,400 Merit Scholarship Awards worth about $32 million that will be offered next spring.
