<p>Each year the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania selects individuals and/or organizations from the community and honors them for their outstanding work in advancing the cause of children and youth programming and services. Honorees are recognized because they exemplify the ideals of being a &#8220;Champion of Youth.&#8221;</p><p>To honor these distinguished individuals the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of NEPA is hosting the 2015 Champion of Youth reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, at the Glenmaura National Golf Club, Moosic. Event tickets are $150 each.</p><p>This year&#8217;s honorees are: Jimmy Brozzetti, New York Yankees representative and community advocate; Matthew E. Haggerty, CEO Times-Shamrock Communications and publisher of The Times-Tribune; John A. Kramer Jr., director of production planning and control, Gertrude Hawk Chocolates and 14 year board member and past president of the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of NEPA; David P. Rudis, CPA, CVA, CFF partner of Snyder &amp; Clemente and 19 year board member and past president of the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of NEPA.</p><p>Special guest will be former New York Yankees player Roy White.</p><p>The Champion of Youth reception is the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of NEPA&#8217;s largest and most important fundraiser comprising 70% of the special event fundraising budget. The proceeds provide the Club with the unrestricted funds needed to supply our members with recreational and educational programs.</p><style>
