Nanticoke Class of 1965 celebrated 50th reunion

<p>JIM THORPE &#8212; The Sixties Show, a performance that aims to transport patrons back to the &#8217;60s with period dress, equipment, news clips and set lists, will play Mauch Chunk Opera House Saturday, Nov. 14.</p><p>The band features musicians who&#8217;ve backed and worked with a number of notable musicians, including The Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney. The New York-based show is described as a &#8220;theatrical multimedia experience,&#8221; with narrations and news clips from the &#8217;60s interspersed between hits of the era. The band performs in mod costumes playing and using &#8217;60s musician gear.</p><p>Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $26 and can be purchased by calling (570) 325-0249 or by visiting mcohjt.com. Tickets can also be procured at SoundCheck Records in downtown Jim Thorpe.</p><style>
