WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police have charged a Kingston man with simple assault and reckless endangerment after a domestic dispute turned violent.Police were dispatched at 11:56 p.m. on Thursday to a residence on Beech Street for a report of a domestic dispute.Police say that Larry Herbert, 37, of Richard Street in Kingston, pushed and shoved two children at the scene. Herbert then allegedly struck a man, which police say resulted in &#8220;a significant injury&#8221; to the man&#8217;s head.Herbert allegedly fled from the scene after the incident, but police located him a short time later. While being processed at police headquarters, Herbert allegedly became non-compliant and physically combative with officers, prompting police to use a Taser on him.Herbert was eventually transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for overnight arraignment. The man allegedly struck by Herbert was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.The children at the scene did not sustain any injuries.<div class="metaInfo"><bylineMeta>By Travis Kellartkellar@www.timesleader.com</bylineMeta></div>
