<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; eBay Enterprise Marketing Solution, which named Wilkes-Barre as the site of its headquarters Monday, announced Friday that it has acquired Digital Net Agency (DNA), a leading interactive performance agency.</p><p>Aaron Baker, formerly chief executive officer of DNA who will now become chief operating officer of eBay Enterprise, sees the move as an opportunity to provide an economic benefit to the community, while providing excellent service to its customers.</p><p>Michael Jones, who co-founded the online startup Pepperjam that became eBay Enterprise, will continue to serve as chief executive officer.</p><p>&#8220;Knowing Michael and his team as we do, we&#8217;re absolutely thrilled to join eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions,&#8221; said Baker in a press release. &#8220;We&#8217;ve stuck to our vision throughout our existence focused only on generating great results for our clients, and we&#8217;re always been willing to put our own skin the the game.&#8221;</p><p>Baker said he and Jones, sharing a similar mindset, are looking forward to &#8220;doing great things together.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;There is a misconception that in order to find quality talent you have to go to New York or Los Angeles,&#8221; he said. &#8220;We believe that we have much of the talent that we need right here.&#8221;</p><p>He said he looked forward to area college graduates joining the company in positions that pay well.</p><p>Baker said that both he and Jones have deep local roots, with Baker having attended school in the Wyoming Valley West School District.</p><p>eBay Enterprise sells and promotes products and services online for companies in return for a commission. DNA has concentrated its business on search engine optimization and search engine marketing and is recognized as a top 10 player in that field.</p><p>A press release characterizes DNA as a &#8220;the lowest-risk, highest-performing partner.&#8221;</p><p>Baker said both companies are known for their excellent relationship with clients in the long term.</p><p>Although the new company will operate out of several location, Baker called Wilkes-Barre the entity&#8217;s hub.</p><style>
