H.S. FOOTBALL: Northwest pulls away from Holy Redeemer in 2nd half

<p style="text-align: left;">A Connor Sheloski interception, his third of the night, set up Tanner Kahlau for the game-winning touchdown run as Crestwood topped Pottsville 47-41 in overtime on Friday night.</p><p style="text-align: left;">&#8220;It was a great win for us,&#8221; Crestwood head coach Greg Myers said. &#8220;Especially coming off a season that we had. We didn&#8217;t live up to expectations and it was good to finish this season on a winning note. The way we won, we got back to playing Crestwood football.&#8221;</p><p style="text-align: left;">The Comets pounded the ball for over 500 rushing yards. They were led by Kahlau&#8217;s 242 yards, which put him over 1,000 for the season, and four touchdowns. Teammate Sheloski rushed for 138 yards and two TDs and Seamus Rother had four carries for 46 yards.</p><p>Quarterback Lance Blass threw for 168 yards and two TDs. Josh Malkemes had an interception in the win.</p><p style="text-align: left;">Crestwood ends it season 3-7.
