The sites and times for the opening round of the PIAA Soccer Championships were released on Sunday with four Wyoming Valley Conference teams finally finding out their times after wrapping up District 2 titles last week.A trio of WVC boys teams claimed district titles last week and two of them will be playing at the same place where history was made.Crestwood, which won its first district title since 1993, and Wyoming Valley West, which claimed a gold medal for the first time since 2009, will be part of a doubleheader at Lake-Lehman on Tuesday. The Class 2A champion Comets will play District 4 champion Lewisburg at 6 p.m. in Lehman Township, while the Spartans will kick off at 8 p.m. against District 3 No. 3 seed Cumberland Valley at the same site.Wyoming Seminary, which repeated as District 2 Class A champion with a win over Montrose on penalty kicks, will play on the road on Tuesday as it plays District 4 champ Millville at the Balls Mills Soccer Complex in Williamsport with game time slated for 7 p.m.On the girls side, District 2 Class 2A champion Coughlin will face District 4 champion Midd-West at 7 p.m. at Central Columbia High School in Bloomsburg.There will also be a doubleheader at Scranton High School on Tuesday for a pair of Lackawanna League district champs. Class A champ Lakeland plays the runner-up from D3 at 5:30 p.m., while 3A champ Wallenpaupack takes on District 1 third seed Council Rock North at 7:30 p.m,D2-2A girls runner-up Scranton Prep plays District 3 champ Fleetwood at 5 p.m. at Hamburg Area High School.Senior Classic set for WednesdayThe Wyoming Valley Conference coaches annual Senior Classic Soccer games will be held on Wednesday at Wyoming Seminary&#8217;s Nesbitt Stadium with boys and girls being played.
