‘Survivor’ casting call comes to Mohegan Sun Pocono on Dec. 15

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police are investigating a report of shots fired during an attempted home invasion on Wednesday.</p><p>Police say they were dispatched at 12:07 p.m. to the area of Park Avenue for a report of shots fired. While in the area, police also received a call for a burglary home invasion.</p><p>Police say that the multiple suspects threatened to shoot juveniles inside the residence.</p><p>Officers spoke to the resident and alleged victim, who said he was in an upstairs bedroom playing video games. Police say the suspects entered the front door of the residence and encountered two of the man&#8217;s younger siblings, ordered them to their knees and threatened to shoot them.</p><p>Police say the suspects then searched the residence for drugs and took the man&#8217;s Xbox, $200 in cash and three cell phones.</p><p>The suspects then reportedly became nervous and fled the residence to a black vehicle parked outside. The victim told police that he ran outside to try to get a license plate number when one of the suspects fired up to four rounds in his direction.</p><p>Police found a single shell casing in the roadway and one bullet hole in the residence. No injuries were reported.</p><style>
