READING &#8212; A Wyoming Valley Conference Division 3 championship.Back-to-back District 2 Class A titles.The first state win for the school in 25 years.The first win at states for a WVC boys soccer team in nine years.Even though Wyoming Seminary&#8217;s boys soccer season came to an end on Saturday night in the PIAA Class A quarterfinals with a 2-0 loss to Camp Hill at Exeter Township High School, the Blue Knights have plenty of reasons to be proud of a monumental season.&#8220;I told them to walk away with their heads up,&#8221; Wyoming Seminary coach Rev. Charles Carrick said. &#8220;In terms of how we&#8217;ve done in history of the school and Wyoming Valley Conference, they&#8217;ve got a lot to be proud of. &#8230;We had a great run and I&#8217;m proud of them for the whole season. They walk away with their heads held high I think.&#8221;Even in defeat, Wyoming Seminary keeper Kyle Hall had a performance for the ages. The 6-foot-6 senior was peppered with shot after shot by the potent Lions, but he got a piece of nine of Camp Hill&#8217;s 11 shots with eight of them being saved. None of those stops were routine. He was diving, jumping and flying all over the goal area.&#8220;He had a couple of point-blanks that probably should have been in, probably would have been in with some other keepers,&#8221; Carrick said about his goalie. &#8220;He&#8217;s bummed because he let two in. I&#8217;m impressed because he stopped (several).&#8221;Camp Hill&#8217;s first shot of the game sailed high over the goal, while its next three were all diving saves by Hall, all fabulous stops. But on the team&#8217;s fifth shot of the match, it was even harder for Hall.The goalie was drawn to the left of the net by Camp Hill&#8217;s offense. A shot then came in on the other side of the goal by Kyle Bentz. Hall dove horizontally to his left attempting the save, but even his big frame wasn&#8217;t long enough to stop that shot as the Lions went up 1-0 with 11:05 remaining in the first half.The Blue Knights went into the half down by one and got a little offense going early in the second half with their lone shot on goal of the game coming in the 47th minute. Even that shot wasn&#8217;t very strong as it was taken from long range and saved by Lions keeper Ilija Trgo-Pezer.Camp Hill&#8217;s lead went to 2-0 in the second half with 17:28 left off Bentz&#8217; foot again. His laser shot was hit off Hall, who then tried to hover on the rebound, but it was too late.&#8220;We walk away with it being 2-0, but it could have been a lot worse,&#8221; Carrick said.Sem couldn&#8217;t get anything going offensively the entire match as Camp Hill&#8217;s speed was too much to overcome and the Blue Knights were held to one shot on goal by the District 3 runner-up, which advances to the Tuesday&#8217;s state semifinals to play East Juniata, which ousted defending state champion Moravian Academy, 3-0 on Saturday night.Camp Hill&#8217;s quickness all over the field was swarming around the ball when Sem had possession, and moving the ball quickly all over with passes when it had control.&#8220;They had speed in just about all areas,&#8221; Carrick said. &#8220;On defense they pressed the ball well so we never had a lot of time. Then on offense they were very efficient. They spread it out.
