Fraternal Societies of NEPA donate to Domestic Violence Service Center

<p>Thomas&#8217; Family Markets held a spring and a fall barbecue as well as a charity golf tournament at Blue Ridge Train Golf Course in July. Portions of the proceeds totaling $4500 go to the Shavertown Volunteer Fire Company. Thomas&#8217; has been doing fund raisers to assist local causes since 1998 and by means of these charitable events they have contributed more than $65,000 to the Shavertown Volunteer Fire Company. In addition, donations will be made to the Trucksville Volunteer Fire Department and several parishes throughout the area to assist families in need.
