PHILADELPHIA &#8212; Officials say applications for gun permits have spiked in Pennsylvania following the terror attacks in Paris.<a href="http://bit.ly/1PPizBl" target="_blank">The Philadelphia Inquirer reports</a> several counties have seen an increase in permit applications or renewals in the wake of the attacks that killed 129 people.Chester County Sheriff Carolyn Bunny Welsh says the bump has &#8220;everything&#8221; to do with the attacks. Her office got 85 applications for permits or renewals on Monday and Tuesday. That&#8217;s at least double the daily average from last month.The Allegheny County Sheriff&#8217;s Office took to Facebook to ask people not to call the office because it has been so swamped.Experts say the increase shouldn&#8217;t be surprising and tends to happen after highly publicized incidents.Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties didn&#8217;t see a spike in applications.<div class="metaInfo"><bylineMeta>By The Associated Press</bylineMeta></div>
