Plains Township man cited for public drunkenness

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; Township police arrested a 21-year-old Wilkes-Barre man following an investigation into the unlawful attempted purchase of a firearm.</p><p>According to township police:</p><p>Joel Perez faces charges of unsworn falsification to authorities and the illegal sale or transfer of firearms. He was arraigned before District Judge Martin Kane, who set bail at $10,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled Dec. 1 before District Judge Joseph Halesey.</p><style>
