<p>Liliya Torkhova and Fosco Marotto, both of San Francisco, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.</p><p>Liliya is the daughter of Valeriy Torkhov and Marina Torkhova. She is the granddaughter of Yuriy Anokhin and Ludviga Anochina, and Leonid Torkhov and Ludmila Torkhova.</p><p>Liliya has a passion for art and fashion. She graduated with masters degrees in economics and psychology. After working in the fashion industry, she decided to focus there, and is currently studying apparel design and merchandizing. She is very interested in bridal design, and hopes to be the next Vera Wang.</p><p>Fosco is the son of James and Piera Marotto of Pittston. He is the grandson of Nida and the late Fosco Santi, and the late Joseph and Rose Marotto.</p><p>Fosco has always been interested in computers. He skipped the college route and focused on building a career of work experience. He has been employed at Facebook in Menlo Park, California, as a developer advocate since May 2013.</p><p>Liliya and Fosco were engaged on Oct. 31, 2015 at Pier 7 in San Francisco. The couple will exchange vows on Jan. 2, 2016 at the Woodlands in Wilkes-Barre.</p><style>
