<p>The local average gas prices held steady over the weekend, while the state and national averages dipped slightly.</p><p>AAA Mid-Atlantic provided the following data for today&#8217;s average gas prices:</p><p>&#8226; Wilkes-Barre area gas average at $2.29 today, unchanged over the weekend and down a penny in the last week. Diesel at $2.67 today, down a penny over the weekend.</p><p>&#8226; Pennsylvania gas average at $2.28 today, down a penny over the weekend and down 2 cents in the last week. Diesel at $2.68 today, unchanged over the weekend.</p><p>&#8226; National gas average at $2.04 today, down a penny over the weekend, down 3 cents in the last week.
