Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic to perform ‘Home for the Holidays’ concert at Scranton Cultural Center Dec. 4 and F.M. Kirby Center Dec. 5

<p>PLAINS &#8212;The Mohegan Sun Pocono tree lighting event has been postponed because of inclement weather.</p><p>The lighting and holiday celebration will now take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3. Festivities including a performance of The Nutcracker by Ballet Northeast, live holiday music performances and holiday pie giveaways by the Pies Patrol will take place in the main casino entrance.</p><p>The tree lighting and fireworks will commence at 7 p.m.</p><p>Santa Claus will make a special appearance and there will be complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.</p><style>
