Letter to the Editor: Syrian refugee sympathizers called ‘hypocrites’

<p>EFFORT &#8212; Workers at a doughnut shop in Pennsylvania&#8217;s Poconos Mountains tackled a knife-wielding robber as he left the store, helped by customers who held him until police arrived.</p><p>State police says Shane Juscavage, of Effort, walked into the Dunkin&#8217; Donuts in Chestnuthill Township at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and threatened the staff with a steak knife.</p><p>Trooper Jeffrey J. Kowalski says Juscavage went behind the counter and took $429 from the drive-thru cash register.</p><p>After leaving the store, he was tackled in the parking lot by workers, assisted by customers.</p><p>Juscavage was arraigned Wednesday on charges including robbery and terroristic threats.</p><p>He was sent to Monroe County Prison under $250,000 bail.</p><p>Police say Juscavage robbed the same Dunkin&#8217; Donuts of $300 on Nov. 14, using a silver revolver.</p><style>
