Pretrial conference for Hazleton homicide suspect paves way to trial

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Gregory Latsko, 28, of Plymouth, was charged with DUI and attempting to elude police after a short pursuit early Thursday morning.</p><p>At 2:29 a.m., police attempted to stop a vehicle for a moving violation, but police say the driver would not stop and drove at high speeds.</p><p>The police report did not indicate where the vehicle was initially traveling.</p><p>The vehicle crossed into Hanover Township where police say it crashed into a fence. A passenger sustained a minor injury.</p><p>Latsko allegedly resisted arrest and showed signs of intoxication, police said.</p><style>
