WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A motorist who fled a hit-and-run crash late Saturday was charged with driving under the influence, police said.Police said they located Navaun Evans, 28, of Sambourne Street a short distance from the crash that occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. at Butler and Madison streets.Evans showed signs of intoxication and arrested for suspicion of DUI, police said. He was taken to police headquarters and given a breath test, police said. The results showed he was intoxicated, police said. Evans was booked and held until sober for his safety, police said.

Police say driver in hit-and-run charged with DUI
