Some areas of heavy traffic congestion could slow the commute.

<p>No rain or snow is in the forecast through the midweek &#8212; instead, mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures are expected.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 28 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with freezing fog reported in the area.</p><p>Areas of dense fog are expected before 10 a.m. this morning &#8212; otherwise, mostly sunny skies are expected. Today&#8217;s high will be near 49.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight, with a low around 29.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are predicted for Tuesday, with a high near 43. Partly cloudy skies will follow into Tuesday night, with a low around 31.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 45. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Wednesday night, along with a slight chance of showers.
