Sunny skies, warmer temperatures to linger in the Wyoming Valley

Letter to the Editor: Federal corrections officers deserving of tools to keep them safe

<p>Commuters could encounter some minor traffic congestion on the way into work and school this morning, especially in the downtown area.</p><p>Affected streets include:</p><p>&#8226; Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre boulevards</p><p>&#8226; Academy Street</p><p>&#8226; Hazle Street</p><p>&#8226; Public Square</p><p>&#8226; South Franklin Street</p><p>&#8226; North River Street</p><p>Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115.</p><p>The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.</p><p>In Kingston, minor traffic congestion is reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.</p><p>For up-to-date traffic information, including traffic cams, visit the Times Leader&#8217;s <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/traffic" target="_blank">traffic page</a>.</p><style>
