<p>Some areas of traffic congestion, particularly in downtown Wilkes-Barre, could add some time onto the commute.</p><p>In the downtown area, scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on several streets. Affected streets include:</p><p>&#8226; Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre boulevards</p><p>&#8226; Hazle Street</p><p>&#8226; North / South Main streets</p><p>&#8226; East Northampton Street</p><p>&#8226; East / West Market streets</p><p>&#8226; North / South River streets</p><p>Elsewhere, free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476, while scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115.</p><p>The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.</p><p>In Kingston, heavy traffic is reported on Market Street near 3rd Avenue, while scattered heavy congestion is reported throughout Wyoming Avenue stretching into Edwardsville.</p><p>For up-to-date traffic information, including traffic cams, visit the Times Leader&#8217;s <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/traffic" target="_blank">traffic page</a>.</p><style>
