<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; The installation of traffic signals at Wilkes University&#8217;s crosswalk will result in a some disruption of normal traffic patterns on Thursday and again on Monday.</p><p>Traffic patterns on South Franklin Street between Northampton and South Streets will be condensed to one lane on Thursday, but will remain open to traffic.</p><p>South Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Northampton and South Streets from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday. Flaggers will be stationed at each end of the block to allow access to all businesses during that time.</p><p>The Wilkes University parking garage also can be accessed at that time.</p><p>Drivers are encouraged to proceed with caution and be aware of slowed or stopped traffic while the signal work is completed.</p><style>
