Wilkes-Barre Township will be hosting a Christmas party for the township children from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the township fire hall.Bob Delescavage and Mike Dotzel, coordinators of the Wilkes-Barre Township annual children&#8217;s Christmas party, are inviting children up to nine years of age from the township and from the following township sponsoring clubs: Wilkes-Barre Township American Legion Post 815, Sons of the American Legion, Wilkes-Barre Township American Legion Post 815 Ladies Auxiliary, Friars Club, Georgetown Conservation Club, Wilkes-Barre Township Lions Club, Warsaw Sportsmen Club, Wilkes-Barre Township Rod and Gun Club and the Wilkes-Barre Township Volunteer Fire Department.Donations were also received from &#8216;Sammy from the gym,&#8217; James T. O&#8217;Hara and East End Liquidating.Santa will arrive via fire truck and will visit home bound children in the township following the party.
