Commuters should have smooth ride into work and school

<p>With Christmas only days away, temperatures are expected to rise and rain is predicted.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 37 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, with a high near 48.</p><p>Cloudy skies are expected to linger into tonight, along with a chance of showers into the early morning hours on Tuesday. The low will be around 42.</p><p>Rain is expected on Tuesday, with an 80 percent chance currently predicted. Up to a half an inch of rain is possible, and the high will climb to 51.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Tuesday night, with a low around 42.</p><p>Rain will once again be likely on Wednesday after 8 a.m., but no precipitation amounts have yet been predicted.
