Tiny tree in Kingston symbolizes the real spirit of the Christmas season

<p>Third and fourth grades students in Barbara J. Welch&#8217;s class at Rock Solid Academy visited Wilkes University as part of an ongoing partnership between the school and the University. The elementary students learned about the Jamestown, Virginia Colony, one of the first colonies in America, from teacher candidates in the Elementary Social Studies Methods class taught by Robert S. Gardner, associate professor of education-undergraduate. At the University, first row, from left, are: Gardner, Barbara J.
