<p>Select band students from Solomon/Plains Junior High School in Plains were chosen to participate in the Marywood University Honors Band at Marywood University in Scranton. Dr. Fred Rommines, band director at Marywood University, was the host director for the 200 students from over 40 schools from throughout Pennsylvania and New York. Ms. Carol Rensa is the band director and Mr. Sean Flynn is the acting principal.
