<p>SUGARLOAF TWP. &#8212; Police are looking for a woman who allegedly tried to rob the Gulf station on Route 93 on Tuesday, but was thwarted by a bat-wielding cashier.</p><p>Police say a woman entered the store at 9:32 p.m., allegedly displayed a small knife and said &#8220;open the register.&#8221; The cashier grabbed a baseball bat from behind the register, and the woman fled the store.</p><p>The suspect is described as a short, white woman with a medium to heavy build. She was last seen wearing a gray winter coat and black pants.</p><p>Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Hazleton at 570-459-3890.</p><style>
