Ashley police warn of potential holiday donation scams

<p>Hanover Area student council and junior student council are again preparing for their annual &#8220;Chili, Chowder, and Soup Contest&#8221; to be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, in the high school cafeteria. The yearly event raises funds for the Ashley Food Bank. For a small donation people can sample the entries. Submit the required form found on the school&#8217;s website: www.hanoverarea.org. For more information contact the school at 570-831-2300, ext. 229. Entries must be submitted soon.
